We spent most of class today refreshing our minds of the color purple and also reading further into the novel’s letters.

Mr.Rease put the entire class into groups today and gave them football team names. He is using this as an opportunity for us to gain credit but to get it daily yourself and your group members must actively participate, that is with the correct responses. He is giving us until next Tuesday to settle the top group.

My inner poet

We started class with begging given 3 different pieces of paper. All of them were different and I already had a bad feeling. One was a poem one was questions and another was a project! We have been assigned to act out a Maya Angelou poem, write a one page paper about it and do a poster. The hardest part of this for me will define fly be memorizing and acting out the poem. It puts me out of my comfort zone and I am scared I will stumble on my words. The project will be due in about two weeks I hope everything goes well.

The Unknown...

The unknown can always seem a bit controversial in a multitude of ways. There are constant instances of what is unknown to us. As people we are advancing yet there is still such a broad surface that we have only scratched. The onceans, space and other phenomena still have to be explored to greater extents. I sometimes find myself going into deep thought of these things. Grasping what we are and live in is much more amazing than what we take it to be. Death and the afterlife wander in my thoughts at times. These are the things of the Unknown that may scare us or maybe intrigue us. The unknown will never be fulfilled as more than what it is, unknown. There will always be something not known in humanity.
