Today in class we answered questions pertaining to three poems from Ben Johnson. They were on my first son song to Cellia and still to be. I was not present when the class read the poems but I was still able to go back and read to get an understanding of them. The questions were actually kind of difficult.

Chapter 8 The Kite Runner

After readers learn what happened to Hassan in the last chapter, the glory continues on. Hassan and Amir are barely in contact as Hassan does his chores and locks himself away in bed. I could only imagine how bad he felt about himself and everything that happened. Meanwhile Amir was still spending his time lying to his family and Hassan’s about not knowing what was wrong with him. Amir was slowly being eaten alive with guilt. This pushed forward something new.

A twist

Mr.Rease put the entire class into groups today and gave them football team names. He is using this as an opportunity for us to gain credit but to get it daily yourself and your group members must actively participate, that is with the correct responses. He is giving us until next Tuesday to settle the top group.

We read one letter today then we prepped for our essay we have tomorrow. We were on a shortened schedule so we had less time. Overall we did an example of an essay Prompt along with the entire class working to write a claim and commentary to go along with it.
