Mr.Rease put the entire class into groups today and gave them football team names. He is using this as an opportunity for us to gain credit but to get it daily yourself and your group members must actively participate, that is with the correct responses. Chapter 8 The Kite Runner

After readers learn what happened to Hassan in the last chapter, the glory continues on. Hassan and Amir are barely in contact as Hassan does his chores and locks himself away in bed. I could only imagine how bad he felt about himself and everything that happened. Meanwhile Amir was still spending his time lying to his family and Hassan’s about not knowing what was wrong with him. Amir was slowly being eaten alive with guilt. This pushed forward something new.
