Responsibly Wild

    This article is purposely working to send an important message. In our society, humans and nature tend to not mix very well. The name of the trail stated in this article is called The Pacific Crest Trail. Overall, the writer wants this trail to be protected while also admiring its beauty. I have learned that this trail gained popularity from the show wild . It is one of our country's 11 Scenic Trails. It also has a website dedicated to it. I find the writer's concern for PCT very compelling. The two rules on how to be responsibly wild seem to be effective. they are to internalize no trace principles and be safe and prepared. I would like to know if these procedures have been successful recently. Moreover, has the popularity risen even greater then before. Two words that were repetitive throughout the article are care and fragile. the focus on care pertains to how important it is to take care of this land. Introduction

    My name is Micaela Mack, I am currently 16 years old in the 11th grade. I am enrolled in all AP classes and is active in school. I participate in ROTC heavily along with chorus. I am a member of National Honor Society, have participated in scholars bowl in the past and on B.C Rain's flag line. I enjoy all of these things along with music,working at my job and reading about what we could look forward to in the future.In this class expect to gain notable skills that will better prepare me for my upcoming college years.I want to become a neurosurgeon in the future. This year I would like to gain more effective speaking skills, improve essay writings and gain better study habits. I look forward to this year and hope the achieve my the highest I can.
